Ranger's first match

My new baby, Javahill's Backwoods Boy, AKA Ranger got his feet wet in the conformation ring at a match in Alamogordo, New Mexico. At 3 1/2 months old, my only goal for him was that he have a good experience and get a taste for what is expected of him in the show ring.

On the other end of his leash was my good friend and Toller supporter, Jinnie, who had volunteered to puppysit while the girls and I went out to California for Ceilidh's WC test. Jinnie was able to work him with dogs in front of and behind. He was gone over by a judge for the first time and generally had a party in the ring. This boy is going to be fun to take around the ring.
