Lately, it seems as though I'm living at work. Such is the nature of springtime and my work, hectic, hectic, hectic. It leaves very little time for any sort of formal training for the dogs, so I've resorted to doing "Drive-by-training" sessions.
The dogs are just happy to get some attention, as they rarely even get to see me at all when I'm not asleep. The really cool part is that I'm dealing with some very eager workers. They don't really care what we are doing as long as they're getting some attention from me. The drive-by sessions are basically the first five to ten minutes after I walk in the door at night where we do something with treats, training, praise. Sometimes the clicker is involved, other times it's just random.
