Training Philosophies

There are many paths available to reach a goal.  Sometimes we get all wrapped up in why one path is better than another and we take our eyes off of the goal.  I've always been a person who likes to have multiple tools (methods) to choose from in my training toolbox. 

With each dog being different, each requires a different approach to training.  Some it seems are almost telepathic while others require much more repetition, work and focus work.  It is my belief that no matter what the method or consistency and fairness is the key to success.  I ran across a great post poking fun at all training methods on Nanook's blog.  Take a look.
